This may be the saddest car-related video I’ve ever seen.
Now here’s something you don’t see every day…or ever. A genuine AC Aceca in the flesh. I caught it just as it was making its way down the road to leave the show, unfortunately. I think the last time I saw one of these in person was about 10 years ago.

A very tastefully done Corvette-powered Austin Healey 100.

No. 6’s “KAR 120C”, a Lotus Seven which he claims to have built with his own hands on the series The Prisoner. Patrick McGoohan’s character built the car, not Patrick himself. More information on this cult classic sports car here.
The Prisoner is one of my favorite tv shows of all time.

As usual, I’m incredibly behind on my car and bike show posts. MG day was fun, but it was much smaller than I was expecting, given past events. There was a nice assortment of MGs, but there weren’t any prewar models, and also no MGCs or MGC-GTs, or MGA Twin Cams, or even an MGRV8. I was happy to see a Magnette though and an MGA coupe, among some other nice examples:

This is an MGB with a Rover V8 conversion. This car was really well done, but I wasn’t a fan of the wheels or the seats. There was another V8 conversion there, with a small block Chevy V8.

A Magnette. This one looks better in photos than it did in person. It was in fair condition, but at least it’s still on the road. There’s so few of these cars left, especially here in the US.

A beautiful MGA coupe. I like the coupes a lot.

A cool MGB-GT

A nice Midget

A TF, my favorite model in the T-series.

Beautiful MGA interior. I love the silver/red combo.

And a gorgeous Jaguar XKE MK1 crashed the party.
As always, you can see many more photos from the show here.
Four months ago I posted about the Tomasso Racing MGA (owned and operated by family friend, Dave Tomasso and his son Rob) that was involved in an on-track crash and was pretty smooshed in the front and back.
Well, Dave and Rob fixed the car and it’s been back on the track for a few weeks now:
Rob (L) and Dave (R)
Pretty amazing work, especially in such a short period of time. The car had extensive frame damage in the front too from the crash, but it’s all repaired. Congratulations, Dave and Rob! I hope your hard work brings home some trophies.
