I never thought it would happen, but last week I finally wore out my first pair of Mechanix gloves, which my Dad bought for me…sometime…god, I think in the 90s when they first came out. Yikes.

New Jacket
On Monday I picked up this cool Belstaff Mojave-inspired moto jacket at Target:
It was only $35 and it’s vegan (of course). Unfortunately, it offers zero protection, so I can’t actually wear it while riding, but it will be a nice casual jacket. Ladies, if you’re interested in picking up one of these, the smaller you are, the better: these jackets run very, very small.

Yup, my Focus is my daily driver. I’ve had her since new. They are good cars, and I’ll bet you can pick them up cheaply now. They remind me a lot of VW Golfs, as far as its mannerisms go. It’s a fun car...

Potential candidates for a new taillight on Spooky’s Manta tail. These are paper mockups printed to actual size. I suspect the third one down on the left is going to be the one. That’s a Yamaha R6 taillight, btw.

Japanese Car and Motorcycle Day (Part 1) @ Larz...
Yes, I still have car and motorcycle show photos to post. This show was the day after MG Day, and it was a good one. I got to see a bunch of fairly rare cars and bikes as well as some really interesting modified vehicles. Since there was a Z club there (I think they may have co-sponsored the event), the show was dominated by Datsun & Nissan Zs. I don’t think I have ever seen so many...

Doing Work
Doing a little work on Spooky today; I’ll post up about it later or tomorrow. I’m taking a little break from working and was looking for more pics of tube-framed Buells wearing XB/1125-style wheels.
